The Trance

The reach for food is doing something.

A trance isn’t who you are — it’s a moment you drop into. Something feels lacking, or too big, or too controlled, and a Part of you reaches for food because, for a few seconds, it genuinely helps. The relief is real. That’s exactly why force has never worked.
